Tutoring one-on-one has always been more rewarding for me because I am able to focus on the student gaining a strong understanding of the subject. I like to make sure the student has a thorough understanding of not only how to solve a problem, but why they took the steps they did in the process. As a graduate student, I taught the lab portion of a general biology class to undergraduates. I continued my teaching overseas, and taught English and science to 6th grade students for three years. I also tutored many students, and found this to be the most rewarding style of teaching for the reasons I stated above.

I love most activities associate with going to the ocean, including snorkeling, surfing, and fishing. I own my own architectural photography business, and find that this type of work very much appeals to me. There is something about finding the right angle of an interior or exterior space, so as to make it look its absolute best, that I find endlessly gratifying. If I am not doing one of the above activities, you will probably catch me at home with my wife watching a scary movie.
