BA Theater Marymount Manhattan College (New York, NY) Cum Laude GPA 3.6 Teaching Credential Single Subject English San Jose State University GPA 4.0 I have my BA in theater, so I am able to coach acting, Shakespeare, and public speaking as well. I have my teaching credential in English (middle school/high school) and have experience working with kids one on one in the classroom with writing and reading.

Experience

I will be teaching English full time starting in September, but I am looking to tutor over the summer for those students that may need extra help in order to get ahead the following school year. In addition to recently earning my teaching credential and student teaching English in a high school, I have nannied for the last 10 years, so I am able to make a connection with younger children as well. In my student teaching experience, I guided my 11th graders through a personal statement writing and revision unit. I am happy to help your child revise and edit their college admissions essay as well.
